Frequently Asked Questions

The last 50 games are used to create averages of all stats in the game. Average rating is simply a measurement of your score across all games and compared with the average score. 6 is considered the average.

This takes quite a few different factors. Notably, your GK, DEF, MID, ATT ratings (adjusted for each position), along with your average rating. Additionally, it takes into account the leagues that you play in, if you play international football, and if you play in any continental competition.

There have been quite a few improvements to how we collect data for games and players. These improvements came around near the end of Season 4. Unfortunately that means historical data is not available for the time being.

There is a google form at the bottom of any page that you can use for any feedback, but also problems like this. I am looking at them quite actively, so you will still get a quick response (hopefully).

GK rating is based on saves, catches, and goals conceded. DEF rating is based on tackles and interceptions per game. MID rating is based on passes and assists, resembling a "Playmaker Rating". ATT rating is currently based purely on goals per game, considered a "Goalscorer Rating".

As of 10/06/2024, all ratings are position-specific. This means you can't directly compare players outside of their position, but it gives you a good idea of how a player is performing compared to their direct competitors in the same role.

Ratings are based on a 75-game rolling average, so you'll see these values change slightly every few days. Market values are tweaked relatively often, so they might change for seemingly no reason. Expect changes until the 'full release' of PSAFDB.

To be in the Team of the Week, you simply need the highest score in your given position for that week. There's no other method of calculation. If you were subbed off, your most commonly played position will be used for that particular game.
